They have a lovely golden color to them and are so soft and fluffy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making Freeze and Bake Rolls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These would be fabulous for Thanksgiving dinner, and you can partially bake them ahead of time and just heat them up before serving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They do stale pretty quickly, so I would not recommend baking them several days ahead and serving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake for half the time, then wrap in plastic or foil and freeze or refrigerate. Let them come to room temperature and bake until golden just before serving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients for Pumpkin Pull Apart Rolls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ingredients are basic bread making ingredients plus pumpkin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>flour - all purpose or bread making flour work best<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>yeast - make sure it is fresh<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sugar - to give the yeast something to eat, these are not a sweetened roll<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>milk - your favorite dairy or non dairy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>egg - or egg substitute (makes the rolls richer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>shortening or coconut oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>butter - or shortening or coconut oil for vegan preparation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to use pumpkin or squash WITHOUT seasoning in it. Some are pre-seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg. <\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"recipe\"><\/div><div id=\"wprm-recipe-container-19371\" class=\"wprm-recipe-container\" data-recipe-id=\"19371\" Add more flour \u00bd cup at a time until dough sticks to spoon and pulls away from the sides. You may not use all 5 cups of flour.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-19371-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Preheat oven to the lowest possible setting. Lightly flour the counter and knead the dough for about 2 minutes. If it is too sticky add slightly more flour, but the dough should be soft.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-19371-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Put dough in a large greased bowl and cover with a towel. Divide dough into 4 balls, then divide the 4 balls into 6 balls for a total of 24.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-19371-step-0-7\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Shape each ball into a round roll and place in pan so barely touching. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with flour or seeds. After about 20 minutes, preheat oven to 400\u2109.
