vegetable\u00a0stock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>potatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>half and half\u00a0or milk of any kind (half and half will be creamier and have more fat)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>herbs and spices - bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for serving - croutons and extra broccoli florets and grated cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The next time I make\u00a0the soup I will save the florets for the
