Or maybe try some <a href=\"https:\/\/thatrecipe.com\/do-chua-carrot-radish-pickles\/\">Do Chua<\/a>, a simple Vietnamese pickle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some versions of Giardiniera cut the carrots into long sticks more like cucumber pickles and some cut the vegetables into small bits like a relish. This is a simple mix of vegetables, a brine of vinegar. sugar and salt plus some aromatic spices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cauliflower<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carrots&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bell peppers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>yellow onion&nbsp;(or pearl onions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>jalapeno peppers&nbsp;(or hotter pepper)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>garlic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salt, pickling spice, basil, oregano, peppercorns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can mix and match the vegetables and spices as you fit.
