All are easy to find and add to the deliciousness of the final recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can start the chicken marinating in the morning, store it in the fridge and then cook it up quickly for a healthy weeknight meal. For full flavor don't skip the marinating process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cast Iron Skillets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When my mother passed away I brought home her two cast iron skillets (one small, one large). My husband was puzzled when I took them out of the box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Don't we already have one of those?\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Of course, but this is a Lodge.\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It made perfect sense to my chef brother, but my husband did not understand that 1) you can never have too many cast iron pans and 2) <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2FJCHJq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Lodge is quality<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, cast iron cookware is heavy. Which is why my mother, with her severe rheumatoid arthritis ended up buying the small pan so she could lift it in and out of the oven when she made <a href=\"https:\/\/thatrecipe.com\/cast-iron-skillet-cornbread\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cornbread<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, the benefits far <strong>out weigh<\/strong> the lone drawback. It heats evenly, it is non-stick without chemical coating that flakes off, it cleans easily (just a scrub and a rinse, boom done), you can stack for storage without worrying about damaging the coating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course I don't worry about storage.
