Passion Tea Lemonade is a refreshing blend of floral fruit and hint of warm spices perfect for quenching your summer thirst.<\/p>\n\n\n

This recipe was inspired by Starbucks popular passion tea lemonade. However, this version skips the refined sugar entirely in favor of honey which plays up the subtle lemongrass and cinnamon flavors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of tea to use for Passion Tea Lemonade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starbucks uses Teavana Passion Tango tea which according to their website<\/a> is <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starbucks owns Teavana now and the closest you can buy at the store is Hibiscus Spice<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, there are a variety of similar teas you can use instead such as: Tazo Passion Tea<\/a> or Celestial Seasonings Red Zinger<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to find Lemongrass<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I get mine from my garden planted between the pomegranate tree and rosemary bush. It is a pretty perennial clumping grass, at least here in California. Since it is a tropical plant, it is often an annual in colder climates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some grocery stores may carry fresh lemongrass stalks, but you are more likely to find lemongrass paste in tubes with the other fresh herbs. Or you could look for dried lemongrass with the herbs or teas or order online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
