But she skillfully hid that fact from her grandmother-in-law and mother-in-law for decades. Her hostesses never noticed she didn't touch the lamb at Easter dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When my parents took over the Easter dinner hosting duties for the family,&nbsp;they came up with this Grilled Leg of Lamb recipe which she really enjoyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, my Dad did the grilling so it also split up the cooking duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips for Grilled Leg of Lamb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If possible, get your butcher to butterfly the lamb for you. Otherwise, study <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/videos\/techniques\/how-butterfly-leg-lamb-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this video over at BBC Good Food<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recipe calls for <strong>dried herbs<\/strong>, but use fresh if you have it. Use twice as much fresh as dried.
