Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie is a delicious dessert, especially for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conversation in my house on Saturday morning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J: Mommy, I want a Mutato Pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me: Okay, what is Mutato Pie?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J: It has mutagen on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(He just invented it on the spot. Unlike Pizza Gyoza<\/a>,\u00a0this isn't based on anything in any episode of\u00a0the Ninja Turtles show, so I had free rein)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter Daddy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J: Daddy, we are going to make Mutato Pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me: I thought I could tint some whipped cream green, maybe on a chocolate pudding pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad: Hmm, how about mint chocolate chip?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J: Yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad: How about mint chocolate chip ICE CREAM pie?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J: Oh, yes! That's it! That's what I want!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad: I'd eat that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we went to the store for ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when we got home I made the Mutato Pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mutagen and chocolate pie topped with mashed potatoes and some dried mutagen sprinkled on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two days later it is almost gone. The three of us come up with some pretty good recipes when we try.<\/p>\n\n\n
